Anti-infective Therapy

Individualized Care Plans

Soleo Health's experienced, local teams provide clinical support for patients requiring anti-infective therapy. Our interdisciplinary team of pharmacists and registered nurses, in collaboration with our reimbursement specialists,  work together with physicians to develop individualized care plans to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Anti-infective therapy (antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral) is one of the most commonly prescribed home infusion therapies and can be safely managed in the home.

Infections requiring long-term anti-infective therapy can be caused by a variety of reasons:

  • Abscesses
  • Catheter sepsis or line infections
  • Cellulitis
  • Chronic urinary tract infections (UTI)
  • Pneumonia
  • Cystic fibrosis (CF)
  • Endocarditis
  • Fungal infections
  • Lyme disease
  • Osteomyelitis
  • Endocarditis

Each of these clinical conditions may result in unnecessary hospitalization and/or emergency department visits. Soleo Health provides an easy and patient-friendly alternative to hospitalization by offering the patient and family choice in the type of care they receive and who provides it. Our clinical team will assess patient appropriateness for first dosing of anti-infective therapy, considering the risk vs benefit of initiating care in the home.

Soleo offers 24/7 access to pharmacists and registered nurses specifically trained to administer and manage anti-infective therapy. We provide comprehensive education and support to patients and caregivers, encouraging independence. Patients on anti-infective therapy often return to work or school, and Soleo schedules home infusions at the patient's convenience.

We are dedicated to enhancing our patients’ experience through innovative and cost effective solutions resulting in exceptional patient outcomes.
